Remarks:
  • Iron.
  • Unlike the Type 'D' (which is closely resembles) the flange at the rear is sloping, instead of being horizontal.
  • The cheek pieces and the neck guard have brass edgings.
  • Bronze rivet shanks remain to show the positions for the reinforcing peak fastenings.
