Remarks:
  • Iron skull.
  • This helmet retains one moulded reinforcing strip on the left side of the helmet. Its ear guards are also of iron, worked out from the side of the helmet.
  • The straight rim across the brow with its moulded reinforce, suggest an infantry, rather than a cavalry helmet.
