Item details
Remarks:
  1. Iron. A deep, rounded bowl, with vertical sides. This flares into a brim all around the helmet.
  2. The neck guard is embossed with two semi-circular steps.
  3. Just above the bowl is embossed an horizontal rib of triangular cross section.
  4. The cheek piece hinges are attached by two rivets each, between the brim and the embossed rib.
  5. This helmet shows considerable damage to the bowl and the neck guard.
  6. The plume holder takes the form of a vertical tube attached by rivets to a circular flanged base in the centre of the crown.
