Remarks

Item details
Remarks:
  1. Made of copper alloy.
  2. There are three prominant ridges in the occiput region.
  3. The neck guard itself carries a single embossed ridge.
  4. On the front of the helmet there is an embossed 'eyebrow' consisting of a single ridge, top and bottom. The edges of the crown of the helmet appear to have been 'knocked back' and decorated with a filed-in cable pattern reminiscent of the 'Celtic' style of Montefortino-A type helmets.
  5. The cheek-guards are somewhat angular, with a raised central portion all around. The frontal curves are not simple.
  6. Photos, (c) Jens Horstkotte.
