Item details
Remarks:
  1. Iron base, originally copper layer plated on top, now lost.
  2. Found in fragments; more than 40 pieces had to be reassembled.
  3. The back of the helmet has a considerable 'step-down' at the sides. The neck guard curves out from the body of the helmet to form a smooth transition.
