Remarks

Item details
Remarks:
  1. The helmet skull is asymmetrical. Originally, it was plated with silver but it seems as though the helmet was badly damaged by fire and the silver has all melted from the iron skull.
  2. Around the rim of the helmet skull is a series of small holes, which were probably used to secure a leather lining to the helmet.
