Remarks:
  1. Iron, with a bipartite bowl.
  2. Bottom edge of the helmet is pierced with holes to facilitate securing a leather or linen liner. The same is true for the neck guard and the cheek guards.
  3. The bowl is decorated with a pair of 'eyes' at the front and a large crescent (moon) above the ear hole.
  4. This helmet is fitted with a high crest of a flat sheet of metal, shaped like a dorsal fin.
