There are four large holes of unknown function on the forehead and two similar ones under the chin. The forehead hinge is in the form of a sheet iron eyelet with a riveted copper eyelet repair.
Along the right edge of the mask, there is the inscription: "TVR PAVLI/FUSCI", either 'Paulus Horse troop, property of Fuscius' or 'Paulus Fuscius' horse troop'
