Bronze mask of a young, beardless face with curled eyebrows.
The hair is boldly curled in this example, with locks that fall down over the cheeks.
In the top centre of the forehead there is the hinge plate for attaching the mask to the bowl of the helmet. Beneath the ears there is a hole for the rivet that was used to close the mask with a leather strap.
The eye sockets, nostils and space between the lips have been pierced through the metal.
