Remarks:
  • Bronze helmet bowl.
  • This helmet is cone-shaped rather more than is usually the case.
  • There are three holes on each side fr the hinge plates of the cheek guards (missing).
  • Two engraved lines run completely around the helmet, while at the rim there is a crude cable decoration. At the rear there are three small punched circles. The top surface of the neck guard is decorated with some crudely engraved hatching.
  • The photo is of a copy, on display at Mainz.
