Heavily embossed helmet bowl. Just above the brow there are two greyhounds (or similar). On the forehead there are two inwardly facing griffons. The neck guard also has extensive embossing. This helmet is virtually identical to the one from Antinupolis, Egypt, which also has the griffons and the hunting dogs. However, the details of the decoration are quite different and somewhat more crudely rendered than in this example.
The ear guards have been beaten out from the body of the helmet.
