Hemispherical bronze helmet bowl with near-vertical sides, the neck guard being almost horizontal. At the rear of the latter is a rivet for securing the lace-holder ring.
The rectangular cross-section brow reinforcement is attached by a flat-headed rivet at the sides. The bar, however, does not appear to have been soldered to the helmet bowl.
The cheek guard hinges were attached at each side with two flat-headed rivets each.
Above these, solder traces indicate that plume holder tubes were once attached.
A conical plume holder is soldered to the apex of the helmet bowl.
