A female face mask with pierced eye sockets, nostrils and mouth.
The mask is fashioned from copper alloy.
The face is framed by what appear to be two snakes and there are also snakes within the hair, suggesting this represents a Medusa head.
The hair is formed in three rows of waves that extends right around the head.
Above the centre of the brow there is a small bust with a diadem or a helmet.
