Remarks:
  • Bronze with tinned surface.
  • Punched inscriptions on the neck guard read: (a) "C.SEXTI.DVLLI.", (b) T(iti).VETTI, (c) PIIONII>
  • The sides of the helmet bowl are almost vertical. Traces of solder show that there were originally tubes for holding plumes at the sides.
  • A conical plume holder is soldered to the apex of the helmet bowl.
