Remarks

Item details
Remarks:
  1. Hemispherical skull form with a deep extension at the neck area.
  2. There are recesses for the ears and a rather small rear peak, which is at right angles to the skull.
  3. There are a series of holes encircling the upper part of the bowl and rising to a central point above the brow.
  4. There is a fragment of silver sheeting on the right hand corner of the neck flange. The rivets holding the cheek piece hinge place have been hammered flat so that the silver sheathing could fit over the top and lie flush with the helmet bowl.
