A short point, triangular in outline, has been raised from the top of the skull.
The deep back terminates in a slightly sloping neck flange.
Across the brow is an embossed rim that runs into shallow ear guards, again raised from the skull of the helmet.
Above and following their outline is an embossed ridge.
There were two rivets for each cheek piece while two large rivets and one small one were used to attach a peak above the embossed ridge across the brow. This pointed upwards at a slight angle.
