Remarks:
  1. Bronze.
  2. There is a wide bronze sheet applied around the ear openings and across the brow.
  3. Two large reinforcing bars cross the skull at right angles and are joined by a 'half-lap' joint in the centre.
  4. The occiput region extends very low down and there is a small neck flange at the base.
