Dimensions: (of skull) H, 280mm; B, 147mm; L (of cheek guards): 147mm; Th, 0.8-1mm.

Remarks:
  1. Bronze or bronze sheet.
  2. Known as the "Niederbieber" type in Germany, this helmet is an almost complete example of the type.
  3. The reinforcing bars across the crown are secured with large, cone-shaped rivets.
  4. The ear guards fit very closely to the helmet sides and have a wide flange at the rear.
  5. The left proper cheek guard is missing.
  6. Weight: 0.576 Kg.
