A plain, deep iron helmet with a large neck guard.

The ear recesses are very large and the rounded shallow ear guards are worked out from the edges.
-
An upturned pointed peak is attached by conical rivets close to the brim above the brow.
-
There is no visible means of attaching cheek pieces. Possibly they were suspended inside the helmet at the top and then strapped around the neck.
