At some stage in the past, this helmet seems to have been converted into a bucket. A handle has been fitted at the sides, together with two metal loops.
The helmet has a single ridge, that runs all the way around the circumference. The lower part of the helmet does not form a flat brim but is steeply angled. It is possible that it was beaten into this shape as a result of the conversion into a domestic utensil.
