Bronze skull of simple form with straight sides and a flattened, rounded top. At the back, the skull slopes away from the neck and reaches down to the level of the ear lobes. This helmet thus shows some similarities with the Coolus-Hagenau, Type "I", in that the region of the occiput is deepened to improve the protection there.
The brow reinforcement is placed high up and close to the extreme curve of the bowl.
Both ear guards are secured with three round-headed rivets and two more fasten the cheek piece hinge plates.
The cheek guards are severely plain, with no flanges at the front or back.
