On the underside of the neck guard is the following graffiti: "QV(intus) SALONIVS T(urma?) RONI", then POPNIS (l), CASTIC/TI(?) (c) and IVSTI (r).
This helmet is made entirely of bronze.
The decorative bronze strips are soldered around the ear openings and on the occiput. Beaded strips are also applied so as to quarter the crown.
The crown has a central hole for the missing plume holder.
The neck guard not only slopes downwards, but it also curves inwards. A bronze carrying handle is fixed in position by two pins that are bent on the underside.
The brow reinforcement is fixed in position by three pear-shaped rivets.
