There is an embossed ridge above the brow that suggests the beginnings of the 'eyebrow' decoration of the Imperial Gallic style of helmet.
Like their Agen contemporaries, the helmet bowl is deep and steep-sided. Unlike the Agen type, the rear of the helmet bowl is separated from the front by a considerable step. The brim does not extend unbroken all the way around the helmet.
At the rear of the helmet bowl there are two embossed ridges.
The cheek pieces are secured through two iron rivets to each hinge.
