Tiberius Iulius Probus, son of Iulius, soldier of Cohort I Classica, .. years of age (lies here). Iulia Materna, daughter of Tiberius, had this set up.
It should be noted that the identification of Cohors I Classica depends on, first, the fact that this unit was in the area in the late 1st C AD and, second, the Gallic cognomen of the soldier. Cohors I Classica was originally recruited in the Aquitaine area of Southern France.
