Item details
Translation: To the gods of the dead.
[...]teius Vitalis, soldier of the 7th Praetorian cohort, of the centuria of Verinius the elder, he lived 43 years, served 13 years and came from the people of the Suebi Necrenses (=Schwabia, Germany), he was promoted (to the guard) from Legio I Minervia. Menosonia Cara, his wife, and his son Vincentius, his heirs, had (this monument) set up, for he was very worthy.
