Legio II Augusta, Cohorts X and VIII, are roman historical groups based in the Southeast and Southwest of Ontario, Canada, with members in the Northeast USA. Our goal is to accurately as possible recreate a 1st century legion in Roman Briton.

Within this site you will find information on our unit standards and regulations, and a list of links to other Roman sites. Also included is a photo gallery, a brief history of the original Legio II AVG and a small description of the basic kit of a Roman legionary. This will provide some idea of what we are about, and a means to build your own equipment and reenact as a Roman soldier of various types. If you have any questions, please email us!
